At the Movies: Summer 2026

At the Movies is back with three blockbuster films recently shown in theaters!

Each weekend will feature a different movie that has been edited for length and content and selected with the entire family in mind. When the lights go down, a 60-minute movie experience will be used to illustrate timeless Biblical truth to encourage you in your faith journey. The movies are FREE and the popcorn is only $1.

FAQs

At the Movies is a unique experience designed to create a fun outing for the entire family and featuring blockbuster films recently shown on the big screen that are used to illustrate life-changing Biblical truths.

If you are joining us on a campus, you may want to arrive a little early to take advantage of the full experience. Be sure to visit the Coffee Bar for $1 movie popcorn before heading into the auditorium to take a seat. When the lights go down, you’ll enjoy an hour-long edited version of the feature film with a message incorporated to encourage you in your faith journey.

Since it began, At the Movies has become one of the biggest invite opportunities during the year. How easy is it to invite someone to church to watch a free movie where they’ll leave uplifted and encouraged? So whether this will be your first time to join us “At the Movies,” or you’ve never missed it before, invite a friend, and we can’t wait to see you “At the Movies"!

If you are a first-time guests, you are probably wondering what to wear. You'll see everything from summer casual to work uniforms. So, come as comfortable or as dressed-up as you'd like. At Venture, all are welcomed, and the only dress code is to wear what makes you comfortable!

Here is what you need to know about your child's age group:

Backyard Buddies (birth - PreK) will offer regular programming during At the Movies experiences ONLY.

Scouts (K - 3rd Grade) and Navigators (4th - 5th Grade) will NOT offer regular programming on during the At the Movies weekends. At The Movies has been designed with kids in mind, and the movie carefully selected for the entire family. The movie is edited for length and content.
