What is KXP?

KXP, short for Kids Experience, is our weekly Sunday programming designed to keep kids safe, teach God's Truth, make church fun, and partner with families. KXP consists of Backyard Buddies (birth - preK), Scouts (K - 2nd grade) and Navigators (3rd - 5th grade) and is the way our birth - 5th graders begin to discover what it means to know, love, and follow Christ.

KXP Curriculum

Our goal at KXP is to teach the truth and lead kids of all ages to know, love, and follow Jesus! To accomplish this goal, our Venture Kids team writes and produces custom curriculum that Scouts & Navigators (K-5th) learn from each week in KXP. This curriculum follows a specific scope and sequence intentionally designed by our team to help walk children through the Bible topically and chronologically, learn key Big Ideas based on Biblical Truths, and begin to understand how the truth of God’s Word changes how they live. It is our prayer that when children leave KXP, they have a heart for God, His Word, His people, and prayer.

KXP Values

If you have a child in Backyard Buddies, KXP introduces them to a Bible story and three simple truths - God Made Me, God Loves Me, Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever.

KXP for Scouts and Navigators explores what God wants to teach them through Bible-based curriculum, memory verses, and weekly Big Ideas.

Keeping your kids safe will always be our top priority. There are several ways we work to ensure the safety of your child when attending KXP. One way we can keep them safe is through having a secure check-in and check-out process. All KXP leaders are thoroughly interviewed and background-checked before serving in a classroom. Across all of our campuses, all personnel – from staff members, to KXP leaders, to our safety team – are trained to keep your kids safe.

Kids love having fun! And we want children to know that knowing, loving, and following Jesus is the greatest joy we can ever experience! Because of this, KXP is specifically designed with engaging lessons and fun activities to make your child excited for Sunday mornings!
