The Bible teaches us that when we come to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ, we become part of a family - the body of Christ. Just like our own bodies are made up of many different interdependent parts, both small and large, with different but important functions, the body of Christ is made up of people with a variety of strengths designed to work together to glorify God, impact others, and expand Heaven.

Impact Team is the name we give to the hundreds of volunteers who serve in a multitude of roles to ensure that Sunday worship experiences and a variety of other ministries happen across our campuses every week. With more than a dozen ministry areas supported by volunteers, finding a serving role on a Venture Impact Team where you can use your gifts is easy.

Guest Services

This team is responsible for creating Venture’s unique culture, designed to ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and accepted. Volunteer roles include opportunities to serve on the Hospitality Team to greet and meet the needs of guests; Coffee Bar Team to prep, stock, fulfill orders, and clean up; Parking Team to create an excellent experience from the moment guests arrive; and Prayer Team to lead others in response to worship.

NextGen

Venture’s Next Gen ministry encompasses Venture Kids (birth-5th grade), Venture Students (6th-12th grade), and Venture College (adults aged 18-25) and exists to create environments for the next generation to grow in knowing, loving, and following Jesus Christ. Volunteer roles vary among each age group but include opportunities to serve as a classroom or small group leader as well as in other capacities such as guest check-in, data entry, and hospitality. Other ministry areas such as Venture Worship, Venture Production, and Venture Studio provide support to our Next Gen Ministry creating additional opportunities to serve Next Gen.

Next Gen Connection Opportunity

Creative Arts

Serving opportunities with Creative Arts include Venture Production, Venture Worship, and Venture Studio. While Venture Production and Venture Studio work behind the scenes, creating excellent worship experiences and capturing photos and video footage that tell the story of life transformation, Venture Worship leads our church family in developing a lifestyle of worship through music. Auditions are required to serve on the Venture Worship team.

Central

Central teams work behind-the-scenes, providing support to Venture’s various ministry areas. Areas where serving opportunities exist include the Facilities Team to upkeep physical campuses; Safety Teams to guard over environments; Church Online Team to host chat; and Communications Team to write and edit devotions.

Venture 101

Venture 101 is a one-hour, in-person class held on each Venture Church campus for anyone interested in learning more about Venture Church, our DNA (vision, mission, strategy, and core values), and the meaning of partnership at Venture. At the end of Venture 101, if you feel Venture Church is a good fit for you, you will have an opportunity to take the next step in partnering with Venture to reach people who are far from God and lead them in knowing, loving, and following Jesus.
