Scripture: Matthew 21:12-17

Tables and chairs start flying. People start running. Who was this man literally turning a corrupt religious system upside down? This was the Son of God, determined to do whatever was necessary to restore this temple to a place of communion between God and man. Like a General who captures an enemy fort, not only does Jesus ruthlessly drive out those with evil intentions, but He then sets up shop to display the true purpose of God. Once the roadblocks and distractions were removed, the people were able to experience the real life-changing work of Jesus.

• What distractions are keeping you from experiencing the fullness of God in your life?

• Spend some time in prayer and personal examination to identify things that are standing in the way of you fully following God. With ruthless passion, ask God to help you run those distractions out of your life.
