Scripture: Matthew 28:1-20

Sunday breaks through the darkness and shatters the hopelessness. It felt like the conclusion of the story had been written, but the cross was just the closing of a chapter. It was only the grip of sin and shame that had been concluded with the cry, “It is finished.” With that conclusion, a brand-new chapter begins on Sunday, but this time you are in the story.

Life Application:

• As the day begins, take a few minutes to reflect on the hope of the resurrection.
• Because of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, His story can become your story when you follow Him. Your story has power! Share the story of how Jesus changed your life and your eternity.  
• How will you celebrate His story today? Come worship with your faith family at Easter at Venture this morning!

Prayer Prompt:

• Praise God this morning for making a way to new life through Jesus!
• Pray 1 Peter 1:3: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 
• Ask God to give you the boldness to share the gospel.
