Read Psalms 86:10-12

Head

Verse 10 says, God - You are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. This reminds us that God is the only true God, and He can do amazing and wonderful things. When our family faces difficult things, God is still good, and He is where our help comes from.

Heart 

God asks us to give Him our undivided hearts. This passage of scripture asks God to give us an undivided heart. What could be meant by a “heart divided”? He wants all of our love and faithfulness, not just what’s left after we give the other parts away. This scripture asks us to praise God with everything we have. As a family, we must make time to thank and worship God together, not just on Sunday at church but every day. We can pray together. We can take time to talk about the good things God has done. We can honor God by showing love to one another.

Hands

Find time to praise God in a special way each day. Maybe it is singing a praise song on the way to school or in the car together traveling. Maybe you can take time at dinner to share praise for something good that happened that day. ook for all the good things God does for us every single day.

Prayer: Dear God, You are such a good, good Father. You do marvelous things and love us unconditionally. Help us to love You with undivided hearts and to see Your faithful works in everyday life. We love You so much, dear God. Amen.
