Read:

Open your Bible and read Luke 1:39-45 together. Then, talk through the questions and pray. If you haven’t done your daily Family Advent Calendar challenge, this is a great time to complete it together!

Questions:

1. Who did Mary go to visit after she received the message from the Angel and what happened when she saw her?
   (Mary went to the house of Zechariah and Elizabeth. When she entered the house, the baby inside of Elizabeth leaped for Joy.)
   
2. In verse 45, we read that Mary was blessed because she believed what the Lord said to her would really happen. Have you ever had a hard time believing God for something? What can we learn from Mary’s response?

Prayer:

Dear God, sometimes it’s hard to believe in things we cannot see. But we know that Your plans for us are always good. Help us to trust You in all things just as Mary did. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Advent Challenge:

Visit someone and spread joy! Maybe take a handmade Christmas card or cookies, or just pop over to a neighbor’s house to wish them Merry Christmas!
