- Summer Meal Pick: There is just something about a grilled hotdog and plain Lays potato chips that hit differently in the summer!
- Summer Family Pick: Bubble Prayers: Kids love bubbles and, depending on their age, often need guidance on prayer. Why not use bubbles to encourage your child to talk to God? Each time he blows bubbles give him a prompt. For example, he can praise God, ask for forgiveness, thank God, pray for others, and pray for himself.
- Why recommend this resource? This is a great way to combine prayer with the fun of blowing bubbles! I love this activity because it's a creative way to incorporate fun with the spiritual discipline of prayer.
- Who would enjoy this resource? Kids of all ages can do this, but bubbles are especially fun for those preschoolers-2nd graders! Parents, you aren't excluded from the fun here! Model it for your child and you might be surprised how this simple activity can expand your own prayer life!

- Camp Venture & Family Night | June 23-26
Camp Venture is a unique chance for families to serve side by side. It's like your whole family is on a mission trip together in your hometown. You can encourage your children to make Camp Venture guests comfortable by inviting a new friend to play games or by passing out snacks and drinks. Talk to your children about why we serve others and what it should look like to impress the love of Christ through serving.
