Head: Know God's Word | Heart: Love God | Hands: Follow God's Way  

Read Acts 4:23-31 

Head

Peter and John were released from jail and immediately went to their friends and began to tell them everything that had happened. The Bible says they all lifted their voices together and prayed. They praised God for all He had done for them and asked God to give them fearless confidence to preach His message of salvation. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken and they spoke the word of God boldly.

Head 

I love how Peter and John and their friends joined together to give God praise first. After they praised him for creating the world and everything in it, then they began to ask him for boldness to preach his message of salvation.

Hands

Let’s think of some ways we can give praise to God. We can praise him through our singing or by telling our friends how wonderful he is. We can praise him by talking to him and telling him how much we love him. We can even give him praise by the way we live our lives for others to see.

How will you show him praise today?

Prayer: Dear Lord, you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them. You brought everything into existence through Your spoken word. We love You and know that Your love for us is so great. Thank you, Lord, for sending Your Son, Jesus, to the cross so that we might have eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
