Head: Know God’s Word | Heart: Love God | Hands: Follow God’s Way

Read Revelation 10

Head

In this chapter, the coolest things happens! A might angel comes down from heaven “clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his face, his face like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire”. Can you imagine seeing that?! Some say it could’ve actually been Jesus! When he talks it sounds like thunder and was loud like a lion! He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. I can see this all happening in my mind. The mightiness and powerfulness of God right in front John’s eyes! There’s a passage in Psalm that portrays this all perfectly as well.

“The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, 'Glory!'” (Psalm 29:3-9)

Heart

That same mighty God wants to have a relationship with you! Doesn’t that make you feel incredible that someone so mighty, the Creator of everything, the God of glory, wants you?!

Hands

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and would like to do that, you can simply pray this prayer, “Lord, I love You. I realize that I am nothing without You. I’m so sorry for my sins. Please forgive me and come into my heart, and make me clean. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.” If you already have a personal relationship with Jesus, remember that same mightiness that He has, now lives in You!

Prayer: Lord, I am in awe of You and Your majesty! Thank You for wanting a relationship with me. Help me to never forget how amazing You are! Amen.
