Read Revelation 7

Head

Chapter 7 begins with four angels standing at the corners of the earth. These angels had the power to harm the earth and the sea, but God sent another angel to mark or seal the servants of God so that they wouldn’t be harmed. 144,000, (12,000 from every tribe of the sons of Israel) were sealed and kept safe. Then another crowd - so big that no one could count them - appeared before the Lamb (Jesus). They were wearing white robes and praising God! These were the believers that went through a really bad time on earth and who were saved by the blood of Jesus. They are now with God worshiping Him day and night! They won’t have any more pain or thirst and it says, “God will wash every tear from their eyes”.

Heart

The best part of this chapter is that it gives us a glimpse of what we can look forward to if we’ve been saved by the blood of Jesus! We get to spend FOREVER worshiping our Savior! We won’t have any pain or sadness, hunger or thirst. It will be perfect!

Prayer: God, thank You so much for Your plan to rescue me all along. Thank You for sending Your Son to die on the cross so that we can spend eternity with You! Amen.
