“God wins. Satan is defeated.”
Facts about Revelation:
- Revelation is the only book that proclaims a blessing over its readers.
- 90% of the book references Old Testament scripture.
- Not a summary of the Bible.
- Keep the context in mind.
- It was written to the local church, for the local church, with an invitation to come into the presence of God.
Study Tips for Revelation:
- It’s ok if there are things you don’t understand. God meets us where we are.
- Don’t get caught up in prophecies and miss what God is doing.
- Difference between truth and prophecy.
- Truth, we should hold confidently with a closed hand.
- Prophecy, we should be able to hold with an open hand because God’s ways are not our ways.

- Chapter 4-16 – Judgement
- Chapter 17-21 – Victory of Jesus
