Scripture
Primary Text: Acts 4:1-22
Supplemental Text: Acts 1-3
Observations & Applications
- What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and how does it change us?
- What role do we play in “being filled with the Holy Spirit”? (Acts 4:8)
- What qualified these unschooled and ordinary men, Peter and John, to speak with such boldness and clarity? (Acts 4:13)
- What are some miracles or answered prayers that you have seen or heard God accomplish? Maybe you didn’t recognize it at that moment.
- Read Acts 4:13. What do people take note of when they encounter you?
- What changes do you need to make in your life that will communicate that you have been with Jesus?
Prayer
Lord, will You give me eyes to see and a heart to receive the Holy Spirit at work in and around me. Help me to be more aware of Your consistent presence in my life. Walk with me and lead me today. Amen.
