Scripture

Primary Text: Acts 4, Hebrews 4

Observation & Application

1. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is “living and active.” What does that mean to you?

2. The verse also says God’s Word judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. How does that challenge or encourage you?

3. In Acts 4:13, the religious leaders were amazed because Peter and John were “unschooled” but had clearly been with Jesus. What does that tell us about the source of their boldness?

4. How do these two verses—Hebrews 4:12 and Acts 4:13—work together to show the power of God’s Word and the presence of Jesus?
