For children, dressing up and playing pretend can bring hours of entertainment and fun. But what happens when we grow up and continue to hide behind a mask? What happens when we hide our insecurities behind authority, our doubts behind knowledge, our pain behind happiness, our fear behind success, or our faith behind religion? If we aren’t careful, we can live a lie for so long that we lose a clear picture of reality. Like a white-washed tomb, we can look pretty on the outside, but be hollow on the inside. Thankfully, God turns empty tombs into temples of life!
