How Great Is Your Love?

How Great Is Your Love?

Begin with two minutes of silence and stillness before God.

Infinite.

Limitless.

Incredible.

Immense.

Incalculable.

Innumerable.

Immeasurable.

What do all of these descriptors have in common? They describe a vastness that is difficult for even the brightest human mind to comprehend. When we envision our individual plans for our lives, we imagine the absolute best we can dream of, given our circumstances and the limitations of our human minds. What we fail to realize is that the power of God is able to do immeasurably, exceedingly, and abundantly more than we can think or ask! Wow, God!

In the first three chapters of Ephesians, we have been reading the Gospel story. We will find that in the next three chapters (Ephesians 4-6), we will transition to applying what we’ve learned. We have been given instructions on how to live a life pleasing to God; now we are about to study how to go out in faith with the help of the Holy Spirit and walk in the newness of a life transformed.

What is something that you are praying about? Has God ever given you a “WOW, God” moment when you were given something that far exceeded what you had prayed for?

Take two minutes to reflect in silence.
