Scripture: Matthew 26:1-16

Anointing and betrayal. Celebration and indignation. An expensive jar of perfume and 30 pieces of silver. Mary chose to worship her Savior, but Judas chose to walk away. Tuesday is truly a day of juxtaposition. This day brings good news and bad news. The bad news is that we often choose betrayal like Judas, but the Good News, the cross, it changed everything. 

Life Application:

• Are you carrying guilt or shame? Romans 8:1 tells us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Remember God has forgiven you, and so should you.
• Take some time and sit at the feet of your Savior today. 

 Prayer Prompt: 

• Thank God for His plan to rescue sinners like us even though there is nothing we could do to earn or deserve His love and forgiveness.
• Ask Him to help you let go of the shame of sins He’s already forgiven.
